- 4 duck eggs (about 240 g)
- 240 g of sugar
- 240 g of self-raising flour
- 2 tbsp of milk (optional)
- Jam (optional)
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease and line two round cake pans.
- Weigh the eggs, then weigh the same amount of sugar, butter, and flour.
- Beat the butter and sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, then the vanilla.
- Fold in the flour. Add a little milk if the batter is too thick.
- Divide the batter between the pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let it cool, fill with jam, and assemble.
