A land with a rich historical past, it is home to many remains from the Bronze Age and the Iron Age. The Nuragic civilization, specific to Sardinia, owes its name to the nuraghes, these little-known but emblematic towers that still mark the landscape of the island.
Today, the olive trees bordering the ruins have begun to bear fruit. The olive grove of Sant’Antonio Di Gallura is now home to 9,600 Tuscan olive trees and some specimens of oleaster over 1,200 years old.
The Tuscan varieties: Leccino, Frantoio, Leccio del Corno, Maurino and Pendolino have acclimatized to this Sardinian terroir, swept by the winds of the Mediterranean and sharing the land with wild aromatic plants such as the Italian immortelle (Helichrysum italicum), myrtle, wild lavender, wild thyme and many others…
The planting was done in an artisanal way, and an irrigation system was created to give the olive trees the optimal amount of water they need to give us a beautiful and fleshy olive to extract the best olive oil.
All this on the banks of the lake, Lago Liscia, which gives this land a little air of paradise as far as the eye can see.
In 2013, varieties of olives originating from Tuscany took up residence in Sardinia, in the middle of the Mediterranean.

He who plants trees knowing that he will not be able to benefit from their shade has just begun to understand the meaning of life.
